I've been working as a professional software engineer since 2019 (in tech since 2015) in a career spanning 6 paid internships and 3 full-time permanent or contract roles. I began my BSc. (Hons) degree in Computer Science in 2018 and am set to graduate in early 2023, meaning I was hired in all of my 9 roles in the tech industry while simultaneously completing my degree. In order to accrue such a vast array of experiences so early, I had to be intentional with my career goals and aggressive in my execution. I had to be at the top of my game in terms of networking, interviewing, technical skills, personal projects, learning the in's and out's of the tech industry (and it's unspoken rules and secrets), and sheer mental fortitude and determination. I am not a savant, nor am I extraordinarily talented, I simply put in the passion, research and effort - and I can show you how to do the exact same thing!
